Rockstar Games Has Reportedly Bought The Crackdown 2 Studio

In what seems to be the season of acquisitions, Rockstar Games may have bought Ruffian Games, the studio responsible for the likes of Crackdown 2 and Halo: Reach of The Master Chief Collection.

This information comes from a Twitter user ConnorGamingzHD who posted this picture from the company’s career page.

While Rockstar themselves hasn’t publicly confirmed this acquisition, there’s more information out in the open that does indicate that  Ruffian Games is working for Rockstar Games as Rockstar Dundee

Twitter user Scottishgames posted the following tidbit, stating that the company is working on unspecified titles for Rockstar Games.

While this should be taken with a grain of salt, Ruffian games have indeed worked with Rockstar in the past on the Grand Theft Auto series and Manhunt. This alleged acquisition also syncs with the rumors floating around that a Red Dead Redemption 1 Remake is in development.
