While Rockstar themselves hasn’t publicly confirmed this acquisition, there’s more information out in the open that does indicate that Ruffian Games is working for Rockstar Games as Rockstar Dundee
Twitter user Scottishgames posted the following tidbit, stating that the company is working on unspecified titles for Rockstar Games.
The team at @RuffianGames is #HIRING. They’re looking for #engineers to work on unspecified titles for @RockstarGames.

While this should be taken with a grain of salt, Ruffian games have indeed worked with Rockstar in the past on the Grand Theft Auto series and Manhunt. This alleged acquisition also syncs with the rumors floating around that a Red Dead Redemption 1 Remake is in development.
