In a recent leak by Kopite7kimi on Twitter, they gave away a first look at the rumored Nvidia GeForce RTX 40-series specifications. Let’s check it all out!
The upcoming RTX 40-series, also known as the “Ada Lovelace” of Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), will be a series consisting of three graphics cards: RTX 4070, RTX 4080, and the RTX 4090. As previously informed, the RTX 40-series will give a better output but will be “power-hungry” considering the specs given. To learn more about the RTX 40-series, we have listed below the rumored specs so far:
And TBP, 450/420?/300W.

OTHER NEWS: NVIDIA, Intel GPU Collaboration Might Happen In The Future
Also, according to Kopite7kimi, Nvidia fans shouldn’t expect the RTX 40-series to have a lower price than the previous series (RTX 30).
It could also be because of the high TBP feature of these cards as well as the higher production cost of N5 than Samsung’s 8LPP (used in the RTX 30-series). Looking at the previous price of the RTX 30-series, we might get a hint of how much the next series would cost everyone who would possibly want an upgrade:
Nvidia GeForce RTX-30 Series MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price):
- 3090: $1,499
- 3080 Ti: $1,199
- 3080: $699
- 3070 Ti: $599
- 3070: $499
- 3060 Ti: $399
- 3060: $329
Also, it’s highly important to know that the RTX 40-series will be using three different processors for the three original cards. Although, the leaker is unsure of some of the specifications especially the exact TBPs of each card. More so, these rumored specs are ever-changing and these are still subject to change in the future.
On the weak side, Nvidia has not commented about the leak nor have they released an announcement regarding the upcoming family of GPU.

The release of the RTX-40 is still unknown but it is expected to arrive by the end of this year, at the least. Previously, the RTX 30-series was released to the public on September 17, 2020 (at the height of the pandemic), which could also tell us that the RTX 40 could also drop at around the same time. Maybe around August, September, or October.
On the other hand, AMD is working on the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series which is a heavy competitor for the GeForce RTX series. The RX 7000 graphics card could hit the market by end of October to mid-November of this year, which could potentially be released at the same time as the GeForce RTX 40.
