Will Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Be Free On Epic Games?
The French Epic Games Facebook account posted an ad campaign for the current Epic Games Sale event. They also stated that Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will be free beginning June 3.
The post was supposedly taken down, but not before readers were able to capture a snapshot. It’s plausible that the post was removed since it contained misinformation, although it’s also possible it was removed since it revealed the next free game too early.
It’s not the only time that a mystery game from the Epic has been discovered online. The year before, Epic held a timer to 2021 event, which featured daily freebies. Sadly, each of those titles was leaked on the internet beforehand, allowing consumers to know exactly what to anticipate. The surprise was spoiled for many.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is a remaster of the classic Rise of the Tomb Raider that includes new skins, gameplay aspects, and a multitude of new modes to commemorate the series’s twentieth anniversary. So, despite the fact that it’s an older game by video game norms, it’d be a good freebie for the Epic Games Store to offer.
As mentioned, it’s always plausible that this freebie leak is incorrect, so we will have to sit tight to find out exactly whether the next game will be Rise of the Tomb Raider or maybe something completely different.
