IPL 2022 has changed the squad of each team. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have also formed their new squad. The squad includes well-experienced and hard-hitting players such as Andre Russel, Sunil Narine, Aaron Finch, Sam Billings, Pat Cummins, Tim Southee, and many more. Shreyas Iyer has been declared the new captain of KKR. Each player is excited for IPL 2022. The England wicket-keeper batsmen Sam Billings expressed his excitement regarding IPL, he said “IPL is the biggest domestic tournament in the world.”
Sam Billings has not played a single IPL match since 2019. He has only played 22 games in his IPL career. Last year, however, he won the title of T20 Blast 2021 with Kent Spitfires. So, this year he is excited and confident that he might get a chance in the Playing 11. Earlier he had played for Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils. He scored 108 runs in 11 matches for Chennai, while for Delhi, he amassed 226 runs in 10 innings.

Recently, KKR released a video on Twitter with wicketkeeper batsmen, Sam Billings, where he talked about the challenges of the upcoming season. He called IPL the best league in the world.

“I think IPL is the biggest domestic tournament in the world. You don’t need to say anything more than that,” Sam Billings said.
“It’s a pleasure for the players to play here, it’s an honor to be here.”
Sam has also revealed that the cricket fans in India take the tournament to the next level, so players feel pleasure and honor to play IPL in India.
