According to the announcement, 12-month PlayStation Plus Essential subscriptions will increase from $59.99 to $79.99 in the US, a 33% jump. The Extra and Premium tiers will see similar percentage spikes for annual plans.

What About Existing 12-Month Subscribers?
Notably, the new pricing will not affect existing subscribers until their renewal date on or after November 6, 2023. However, any membership changes made from September 6 onward will lead to higher costs. This includes upgrades, downgrades, or purchasing additional time.

Alongside the pricing announcement, Sony revealed the free games PS Plus members can download in September 2023. These include:
