Splatoon to “Shock The World” With A Secret Project On June 9

Nintendo is ready to reveal a secret Splatoon project on June 9 that will “shock the world”.

The news comes from this week’s issue of Jump, a Japanese Manga magazine. The magazine teases it as a project that Nintendo had been constantly working on.

As the date suggests, Nintendo will reveal the project just days before E3 2018 and the Splatoon 2 World Championships.

Many Nintendo fans are speculating this secret mode to be a Battle Royale mode. Because, why not?

Battle Royale mode is the industry’s hugest trend and many games are either implementing or crafting their own BR modes.

Recently, Valve made public the details of The International 2018 Battle Pass, that brings with it a Battle Royale mode – The Underhollow.

Back to the main news, it’s to be noted that the secret project nowhere mentions anything about “Splatoon 2”. So, the “secret project” is exclusively for the main game as far as we know.
