Stadia Connect: Baldur’s Gate III Announced For Google Stadia
After almost two months since Stadia was announced, Google has announced Larian Game’s Baldur’s Gate III during today’s Stadia Connect event.
Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke commented on the development of the game. He said that Baldur’s Gate III is the “biggest game” the studio has ever made. They had to “triple the size” of their studio to develop the game and that the production value of the game is very high. Baldur’s Gate “deserves to be top-notch”, Swen commented.
We didn’t get any release date for the game. However, Baldur’s Gate III’s official website is up and running with more information.
Stadia is a cloud gaming service operated by Google. It is capable of streaming video games in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with support for high-dynamic-range, to players via the company’s numerous data centres across the globe, provided they are using a sufficiently high-quality Internet connection.
