Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Delayed to Spring 2023

BY JC Paredes 4 years AGO 3 MIN READ

There will be a new release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in 2023, as announced by both Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Games.

Rocksteady has verified speculations that circulated early last month about a probable delay for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Announcing the delay of the game’s release was done by Sefton Hill, the creative director of the production and a co-founder of the company, in an official statement.

While the firm and publisher Warner Bros. Games had originally planned to release the game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the second half of 2022. That timeframe is now Spring 2023.

It is up to the Suicide Squad to find the members of the Justice League who are being manipulated by the primary enemy of the game, Brainiac, who is brainwashing them into actual killing robots. Everything about Superman’s psychotic demeanor, with his nearly bloodshot eyes, is terrifying. Some other DC characters, such as the Penguin, will also be on hand. Courtesy, of course, of Colin Farrell’s portrayal in The Batman!

The combat will be violent.

It appears that Rocksteady’s massive universe will also be the setting for several skirmish-like events. Brainiac is releasing his mental might on some of the most renowned superheroes on the planet; making Metropolis a pretty frightening place.

To obtain experience or practice your skills, it appears that we will be able to glide throughout the city and confront these enemies. However, Rocksteady’s Metropolis is unlike anything we’ve seen before, not even in Superman Returns for the PlayStation 2. Certainly, the evolutionary jump is clear.

One more year… 🕘

Now that the postponement of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been confirmed, we now understand that we’ll have to sit tight another year to see the comeback of Rocksteady, the developer behind the Batman Arkham saga. This game will allow us to play as some of the DC Comics baddies! Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang!
