TikTok: Jacob Knowles under fire over alleged employee scam

A prominent TikTok creator is facing criticism following accusations of unfair compensation practices toward a former employee. The controversy centers around Kevin Potter, who claims he was the creative force behind the TikTok account of Jacob Knowles.

Collaborative effort but unequal reward?

According to Kevin, he was responsible for generating content ideas and filming videos for the account, which eventually garnered a significant following and achieved monetization. However, upon reaching a monetized status and earning $20,000, Kevin alleges he only received $600 from Jacob despite his perceived significant contribution.
