Jamahal Hill and Johnny Walker went at it in UFC Vegas 48 on February 19, 2022.
The top 10 in light heavyweight rankings, Jamahal Hill, will be facing the Brazilian star, Johnny Walker. Johnny Walker or Johnny da Silva Barra Souza is a rising star in MMA and is a brown belter in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
In this bout between two of the best light heavyweight fighters in UFC, the two went head-to-head in a brutal and unexpected fashion.
In the 2 minute and 55-second mark, in only the first round, Jamahal Hill put Johnny Walker to sleep with a crazy right hook to the forehead. Johnny Walker has the size and length advantage against his opponent. Walker is taller, has longer reach, and relatively looks bigger than Hill.
Hill made adjustments and was very patient with his attacks. He knows Johnny has weak defense and sometimes attacks recklessly.
The back-and-forth exchange of attacks between both fighters was entertaining to watch. The knockout was kind of “goofy” where Walker looked like a long tree had just been cut off from its roots. After being knocked out unconscious, he hit the canvas, and the referee declared a technical knockout, in favor of Hill.

Hill stunned the crowd, as well as Walker (literally) with his impressive combo. He also handed Walker his second loss in a row.
In his previous fight against Jimmy Crute, Jamahal Hill also took care of business and knocked Jimmy out with a left hook to the chin. This just goes to show that he’s got a very powerful punch.
The American mixed martial artist showed the world of UFC that he’s one of the best fighters in the sport today. With his win against the Brazilian star, Jamahal Hill now sits with 10 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no contest. Johnny Walker, on the other hand, now has a record of 18 wins and 7 losses. This battle can be a defining moment for Hill as a future MMA Superstar.
