Where to find / How to summon Bonemass

• The Swamp biome of Valheim house Bonemass. Gather 10 Withered Bones from the Sunken Crypts to summon it.

• Once you have 10 Withered Bones, you’ll need to locate the altar where Bonemass can be summoned. The altar is located in the Sunken Crypts and can be identified by the green flame burning on top of it.

• Approach the altar and interact with it while holding the 10 Withered Bones. Once you’ve done this, Bonemass will spawn and the battle will begin.
• It’s recommended to bring a group of players with good weapons and armor to defeat Bonemass as he is arguably the toughest to beat among all Valheim bosses.

How to Defeat Bonemass

• Bonemass is weak against blunt damage, so bring weapons like maces, hammers, or the Stagbreaker. Armor with high poison resistance is also recommended since Bonemass can inflict poison damage.
• It is also weak against frost, so using frost arrows or frost bombs can help deal extra damage.
• Before beginning the battle, stock up on food, healing, and stamina potions. You should also bring resources to construct walls and platforms to use as cover.

• Bonemass can inflict poison damage, so try to avoid getting hit by its poison clouds. Keep moving to avoid standing in the same spot for too long.
• Build walls or platforms to create cover from Bonemass’s attacks. This can also help you to avoid poison clouds.
• Bonemass has weak spots on its back and head. Focus your attacks on these areas to deal maximum damage.
