Valheim Iron Sledgehammer How To Get Easy Guide

BY JC Paredes 5 years AGO 2 MIN READ

If you have unlocked Iron, the best iron weapon you can craft in Valheim is Iron Sledgehammer. The community even considers this weapon to be one of the best weapons in the game. After summoning Bonemass (the third forsaken boss), the Iron Sledgehammer is the most recommended melee weapon to use. Many players are unfamiliar with how to make the Sledgehammer.

Here’s how to craft Valheim Iron Sledgehammer:

The Iron Sledgehammer is a two-handed hammer that inflicts 55 blunt damage on enemies in your vicinity. It’s a top-tier weapon that you can get with basic materials halfway through the game.

You’ll need the following materials to make the Iron Sledgehammer:

  • 4x Ymir Flesh
  • 30x Iron
  • 10x Ancient Bark
  • Drauger Elite trophy

TIPS

The Ymir Flesh can be purchased for 120 coins each from Haldor, the merchant. Defeat the Swamp biome’s Draugr mobs to obtain the Drauger Elite trophy.

Chopping down Ancient Trees in the Swamp biome will give you Ancient Bark, and smelting Scrap Iron will give you Iron.

When you’ve gathered all of the necessary materials, check to see if your Forge has been upgraded to level 2. You won’t be able to make the hammer otherwise.

Go to the Craft menu after interacting with the Forge. Look in the menu for Iron Sledgehammer and select Craft. The Iron Sledgehammer will now be in your inventory.

That’s all there is to know about getting Iron Sledgehammer in Valheim!
