Heads up, Valorant players! The Valorant Champions 2022 is drawing near. The Top 16 teams in the world are finally set to compete. This year’s tournament will be held in Volkswagon Arena in Istanbul, Turkey. With Valorant being extremely popular in the country, fans are definitely rushing in to grab their tickets to the grand offline event.
Valorant Champions 2022: Fire Again
Valorant has released the anthem titled “Fire Again” along with its music video. It features some of the prominent Valorant pro players. As mentioned, Riot Games announced that the Valorant Champions will be held in Volkswagon Arena in Istanbul. It is the third and final event of the VCT 2022 season.
It gathers all the teams that have worked their way to the championship. Additionally, these teams come from all over the world: North America, EMEA, Latin America, East Asia, and the Asia Pacific. The competition begins on August 31 and ends with a grand final on September 18.

According to One Esports, 10 teams are qualified via VCT circuit points earned through Challengers and Masters events. While the rest of the six teams are winners of their respective regional Last Chance Qualifiers.
Acend, the previous world champions, failed to be qualified. Thus, a new champion awaits in Istanbul. People are eyeing for other favorite players such as Masters Copenhagen winners FunPlus Phoenix and Masters Reykajvik 2022 champions OpTic Gaming.
In addition, the good news for fans outside the country as the matches will also be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch. You still get the chance to witness great teams battle for the championship. Stay with us as we discuss everything we know about the much-awaited event.
Everything to know about the Valorant Champions 2022
Rules
- According to Dot Esports, teams will start out in group stages, they would need to be one of the top two teams to move into the playoff bracket. Furthermore, there will be seeded higher and start later on in the playoff bracket for those who came out of groups through the winner’s match.
- There will be four groups and four teams in each group. Similar to the usual tournaments, two teams who will win in the first match will move on to the winner’s match. The other two teams who lost will play in the elimination game.
- Eventually, whichever team wins the winner’s match will further move into the top seed of the playoff bracket from their group. Then, the team who lost in the winner’s match will be moved unto the decider match.
- While the team that wins in the elimination match will be moved into the decider match as well. They would need to win this match in order to be qualified for the playoff bracket. Unfortunately, the team who loses these matches will be eliminated.
- Finally, a random draw will seed the Knockout Stage after the group stage. The teams qualified for the playoffs will be paying in an eight-team double-elimination bracket. For the first round, the team placed first will play against a team that was placed second.

Where to buy tickets?
The tickers for the Valorant Champions 2022 will be available on August 24 at 9 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster. It will be held in the Volkswagon Arena in Istanbul, Turkey.
Additionally, prices range from 100 Turkish lira ($5.53) to 200 Turkish lira ($11.06). The most expensive tickets are for the final day, the grand finals. Moreover, tickets will be limited to four tickets per person per day.
The day of the ticket selling is moving closer. To guarantee yourself a ticket, it would be best to buy it as soon as you can! If a busy schedule is keeping you from doing so, ask a fellow fan or friend who will be joining as well.
