Valve Apologizes For The Leak That Unveiled The New Street Fighter V Fighters
Sometimes the news is produced in a way that was not originally planned, and that is what happened on this occasion with Street Fighter V, the latest installment of the popular Capcom franchise.
Recently we were able to meet the characters that would be part of the last DLC planned for this installment, but it seems that this news was produced earlier than expected and not in the way it was originally intended. And since, Valve has declared an apology.
Through a statement made from the Steam platform, the company has addressed all Street Fighter V fans directly:
“It’s a regrettable and unintentional situation, and we have already implemented measures to prevent this error from happening again. We are fans of Street Fighter ourselves and we’re sorry for the error.”
This leak did not sit well with the directors of Capcom, and an important figure like Yoshinori Ono, executive producer of the fighting franchise of the company, published a series of Tweets in which he gave his point of view on what happened.
Today I don't feel like doing anything. https://t.co/6rcbR5yUJb

The reaction of Ono is better understood if one considers that Capcom had planned a great announcement during EVO 2019, the prestigious fighting tournament in which the company planned to present these new Street Fighter V characters. Anyway, there seems to be no turning back and since Valve has shown their regret for not being able to prevent the leak of this news, so they will surely put more security in the future to avoid these errors.
We recall that Street Fighter V is available on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC
