Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Coming To Consoles

Yu-Gi-Ho! Master Duel, Rush Duel, Cross Duel Coming to Consoles

Yu-Gi-Oh fans are up for some exciting news after a long time, especially for the gamers who want to enjoy the card game on their consoles. Yu-Gi-Oh video games are developed and published by Konami, based on Kazuki Takahashi’s Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime franchise, along with its spin-off series.

Most of the games follow the card battle gameplay of the real-life Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. There are a total of 56 games on various platforms including Game Boy, Play Stations, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Windows, Android, and iOS. But a bitter fact is that it has been a lot of time since any new game came out on consoles. Well, that ends now as Konami is back with three new Yu-Gi-Oh titles.

WE HAVE UNVEILED THREE NEW YU-GI-OH! DIGITAL TITLES: MASTER DUEL, RUSH DUEL, AND CROSS DUEL! Follow @YuGiOh_TCG & @YGO_DL_Official for more information!”, the tweet from the official account of Konami said, while announcing the new titles.

Master Duel

Senior Producer for Konami, Kenichi Kataoka, spoke in Digital Next and unveiled Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel. It was announced last year but nothing other than the name of the game was revealed to the fans and now we have some important information regarding it.

  • Staying true to its name, Master Duel will be played using the Master Rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG/TCG.
  • It is aimed to attract both a casual and competitive audience and would be released on every platform.
  • The game will feature a lot of new animations to display card graphics and effects and would be the first Yu-Gi-Oh to boast a 4K resolution.
  • It was also announced that there will be online competitions for Master Duel, including a competition at the Yu-Gi-Oh! world championship event.

Rush Duel

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale would be coming to Nintendo Switch in Japan in August 2021 and during the fall of 2021 in America and Europe. Akitsu Terashima, a producer for Konami, announced the same on Digital Next.

In Rush Duel, players can explore the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! and duel characters from the anime. Apart from this, they can also challenge friends or other duelists from around the world. Earlier the game was available on all other platforms in Japan since 2020, and now it’s finally being released on consoles.

Cross Duel

Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel was also announced as an upcoming game but not much information has been revealed about it yet. It will host four-player battles within the card game and was slated as “coming soon” for the time being. It is also being assumed that it will be an online multiplayer title like the previous two games are.”

    1. Fake Virus? Do you know how many people died in my country because of it? Do you know how many close relatives I lost in the pandemic? Our website is not a place for social propaganda. Stick to gaming here, and I would advice yo to stop spreading baseless and nonsense information on the internet.
