Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour is held every Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in your local timezone. Here are all the Spotlight Hour Details for June 28, 2022.
Pokemon GO: Spotlight Hour
The Spotlight Hour gives an increased spawn rate of a certain Pokemon including its shiny version. This week’s featured Pokemon is a special one since this is one of the Pokemon TCG promos. The most iconic Pokemon, Pickachu, can be caught wearing a blue Pokemon TCG Featured Hat on June 28’s spotlight hour.
Spotlight Hour: Pikachu TCG Hat
Pikachu is an Electric-type Pokemon that evolves into a Raichu as its final evolution. Its pre-evolution form Pichu requires 25 candies to evolve into a Pikachu while evolving from a Pikachu into a Raichu will require 50 candies. However, like other special Pikachu Costumed themes, the evolution form of Pikachu wearing TCG Hat may not be able.

The shiny form of Pikachu wearing a TCG Hat is available and will be just like the regular Pikachu but wearing a TCG Hat. Pikachu’s Shiny version was released on 17th of August 2017 during the Pokemon GO Park Event, in Yokohama Japan. This means that there is a chance that Shiny Pikachu wearing a TCG hat will appear during the spotlight hour.
Pikachu Movesets and Stats
Pikachu has a maximum CP potential of 1060 with 112ATK, 96 Def, and 111 Stamina. Its quick moves are Thundershock, Quick Attack, and Present while its charged moves are Discharge, Thunderbolt, Wild Charge, Thunder, and Surf. An Elite TM is required to get move sets Present, Thunder, and Surf. The recommended attacks are Thundershock and Thunder (w/ Elite TM) or Wild Charge since it has the highest total DPS.
