Following the success of A Quiet Place (2018) and A Quiet Place Part II (2021). The movie franchise is going to have another one soon and is currently in the works. Moreover, the movie going to be a prequel this time.

What is the title of the prequel movie?
The title of the movie came from this year’s CinemaCon last April. It’s titled A Quiet Place: Day One. With the title alone, it would be easy to assume that it’s for a prequel story.
When is the release date?
The original plan release date was September 22, 2023. However, it got pushed back until March 8, 2024, due to an undisclosed reason. Its delay is no surprise for some fans since the release of A Quiet Place Part II was also delayed for one year because of the pandemic.
So the wait is going to be very long for this movie to come out in theatres worldwide.
What is the possible plot?
Aside from the title and release date announcement, the plot and storyline are still yet to unfold. Moreover from the previous movies, John Krasinski is still part of the screenplay writing along with Scott Beck and Jeff Nichols.
Who are the casts?
As of now, there are no casts yet for this movie. It is also still unsure if Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Krasinski are going to reprise their roles.
The original main cast might come back or there might be a new set of actors going to play for the prequel.
John Krasinski is not the director this time
According to reports, Krasinski is not going to be the director of the prequel. Krasinski was the one who directed the first two A Quiet Place movies. However, Krasinski is still part of the producers of this film along with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller, also with Allyson Seeger as the executive producer.
Michael Sarnoski is going to be the director of A Quiet Place: Day One. Sarnoski recently made his directorial debut in Pig (2021).
While the movie is still in the process of working, more pieces of information are yet to come soon. All we have to do is wait since it is still quite early until its release in 2024. It would be worth waiting for.
