Fans of Alan Wake have something to look forward to very soon. A remaster of Alan Wake is supposedly coming to stores next month. Although there has not been any official confirmation from Remedy Entertainment, pre-orders for the game have been listed online.
In June, a glimpse of Epic Games Store backend data showed us Alan Wake Remastered with a Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Now, Twitter user Wario64 has revealed that a Taiwanese store, Rakuten Taiwan, has listed Alan Wake Remastered has been listed for Xbox, Playstation 4, and Playstation 5.

While the link that Wario64 had posted does not take you to the listings on the online store anymore, IGN has confirmed that they had visited the links initially. They also verified that the links took you to the listing for Alan Wake Remastered in the Rakuten Taiwan store.
October 5 Release Date?
These listings had suggested that the release date would be the 5th of October. Following the post by Wario64, industry analyst Daniel Ahmad replied to the tweet; seemingly confirming that Alan Wake Remastered is hitting the streets. Ahmad replied, “Will be announced next week.”
With the 2021 PlayStation Showcase taking place on the 9th of September, Ahmad’s reference to the “next week” suggests that the announcement will take place during the Showcase event. In addition, Remedy Entertainment’s upcoming projects are in partnership with Epic as a two-project deal. An investor also reports that the first project has “moved into full production”. Rumors suggest that this is the long-anticipated sequel to Alan Wake.
