People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is an organization that battles real-world animal mistreatment. After some time, the group also took on the video game industry on occasion to critique games about animal cruelty. The group also has spoken out against digital images of animal cruelty, claiming that they tend to promote real-world animal mistreatment.
PETA, an animal rights organization, has started tweeting and sending Elden Ring players advice that is both hilarious and unhelpful. Elden Ring followers found the post very humorous. PETA, in the video released on Twitter, somehow made ways to encourage animal welfare.
Sarcasm At Its Finest
PETA shared a video clip of somewhat promoting Elden Ring at first and raising awareness against animal cruelty. In this video, the tarnished showed the TOP 5 things to do in Elden Ring World as a PETA supporter. Some of which are the “proper” taking of dogs for a walk, which entails fleeing in fear from the game’s ferocious wild hounds, as well as shoving troops off their horses and hanging out with calm wildlife. :p

Jim Stephanie Sterling, a gaming journalist, and professional wrestler / YouTuber is noted for ‘their’ love of huge lobsters. This is prominently featured in one of Elden Ring’s zones. Yikes!

PETA vs VIDEOGAMES
PETA was outraged by the Nintendo title 1-2-Switch, which unfavorably depicted cow milking. The said group then requests that Ubisoft delete the cockfighting minigame from Far Cry 6. This just shows how PETA is serious about the awareness they are raising against animal cruelty.
While PETA is continuously highlighting animal abuse in video games, it appears that Elden Ring is a favorite of the organization. The advice to players to play the game without hurting animals is simply a joke and no one should take it too seriously. Elden Ring is full of massive beasts, and it appears that no player will be able to complete the game without killing any animals at all unless maybe, some crazy fan does this then I will update this article. 🙂 LOL!
