Apple Music subscribers can now get their hands on their equivalent of the Spotify Wrapped annual list, better known as the Apple Music Replay 2023. This year’s feature is out just a few days before the rival app is expected to drop the highly anticipated year-end personalized list. Apart from individual stats, Apple Music has also revealed the top artists, songs and albums of the year on a collective level. Let’s take a look at how you can access your Apple Music Replay 2023.
Getting your Apple Music Replay 2023
Apple Music Replay 2023 went live on November 28 and it offers personalized year-end insights which work as a nice retrospective for each user’s musical journey over the past year. The process to access your year-end summary is simple and straightforward.

Visit replay.music.apple.com and log in using your Apple ID. This opens up a detailed summary of music stats for each user showcasing their most-listened songs, artists, albums, genres and other insights. However, these are available only for active Apple Music subscribers.
The feature, which was introduced only last year, provides a highlight reel of top songs and artists along with a milestone tracker for achieving targets like listening to 1,000 songs. Furthermore, users can find out if they rank among the top 100 listeners of their favorite artist/genre, along with the year’s top 100 songs chart.
Global Chart-Toppers of the Year
Apart from tracking your personal musical journey, Apple Music has also revealed who has dominated listening habits around the world. Almost unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift is the Artist of the Year for 2023 with a new all-time record for most listeners in a single year on Apple Music.

Country singer Morgan Wallen’s Last Night became the Top Song of 2023 globally and is now the first country song since Old Town Road (2019) to achieve this feat. Wallen also secured the No. 1 album of the year with One Thing at a Time.
J-Pop had a win in the Top 100 2023: Sing chart with YOASOBI’s “アイドル (Idol).” SZA’s SOS was the second biggest album of the year on Apple Music worldwide, which is an impressive achievement for the R&B genre.
Is it Better Than Spotify Wrapped?
Apple Music Replay 2023 is pretty good for a feature that came out only last year. However, it’s still not impressive enough to go viral like how Spotify Wrapped lists go each year. Apple’s lists are simple and minimal which is not necessarily a bad thing.

But Spotify’s lists spark excitement with features like Audio Aura, Listening Personality and more. In fact, the colorful cards are extremely social media-friendly compared to Apple’s metrics, which explains why they are so popular.
