Your next chance to play Battlefield 1 is coming up.
September’s almost over and what more can we expect from October, than Battlefield 1‘s release? I’ll be honest with you. I was a part of the 13.2 million players that played the Battlefield 1 Beta and I really liked it. From the visuals to the multiplayer-divisions of tanks, airplanes and the armored train, the beta was great and solid.
EA is offering another chance to play the game a complete week before it’s worldwide release. EA Access and Origin Access members “can deploy on October 13 when the Play First Trial for Battlefield 1 releases, giving members ten hours of game time at the dawn of all-out war.” Thanks Dan!
The Play First Trial will allow players to play in five maps and four different game-modes. The maps include St. Quentin Scar, Amiens, Sinai Desert, Fao Fortress and Suez and the modes include Conquest, Rush, Operations, and Domination.
You will also be given a slight taste of the Battlefield 1 singleplayer campaign “with the missions Storm of Steel and Through Mud and Blood.” The progress you make during these 10 hours will carry over the full game (if you decide to get it).
Along with all that stuff, you’ll unlock unique content by playing between October 13 and October 20. “You’ll be able to get an exclusive Trench Raider Dog Tag just for launching the game with the Play First Trial during that time – and if you play all ten hours before October 20, you’ll have a Battlepack waiting for you in the full game.“
Let me share a quick advice. Don’t use up all of your play-time and save some of it till Early Enlister Deluxe Edition‘s release (October 18). This way, the rest of the maps and modes will unlock and you can try them out for free. (Not free actually, cause you’re paying for the Access services right?)
Battlefield 1 is coming for PC (Origin), PlayStation 4, Xbox One on October 21. If you’re an EA Access or Origin Access member, you can save 10% on the game. But before that, make sure to check whether your system is ready to handle the heat, or not.

I’m guessing this advice is only for people that haven’t pre-ordered the game?
Also if I play multiplayer will that progress carry over to the full game?
Here’s the thing. If you’re an EA Access or Origin Access member, you’ll get 10 hours of Battlefield 1 Gameplay with 5 maps and 4 modes. But, if you save some of your hours till 18th (till Early Enlister Deluxe Editon’s release), you will get to play the fully unlocked Battlefield 1 version (without paying any extra penny).
Yes. In fact, the multiplayer progress you made in the Beta will carry over too I suppose.
