He remained unbeaten on 154 off just 64 deliveries. This was the second-fastest century in the history of the Big Bash League.

With a two on the final delivery of the over, Maxwell registered the highest-ever individual score in the history of the Big Bash League. He totally hit 22 fours and four sixes in 64 deliveries. The previous highest individual score was 147* by Marcus Stoinis, against Sydney Sixers in 2020.
To make this more interesting Marcus Stoinis, the Hulk, who came at no.4, also slammed a half-century in only 23 deliveries. As a result of the above fabulous knocks, Melbourne Stars a record-breaking highest BBL score of 273/2 in 20 overs. At last, they win the game by 106 runs.
