Tired from a long day at work? Looking for something to watch? We might have got something for you. While horror films may not be enjoyed by everyone, they can still be a lot of fun! So here is a list of all the best horror movies available on Netflix that for sure are worth your time.

1. Choose or Die

Starting off our list, we have “Choose or Die” which got released this year! While the film may have gotten mixed reviews, it still can be a fun watch. There aren’t a lot of jump scares in the film, rather the film features some distorted computer sounds throughout.

The story features a broke student who plays a 1980s survival game in pursuit of an unclaimed $100,000 prize. After a series of unexpectedly terrifying moments, she soon realizes she’s no longer playing for the money, but for her own life.

2. Vampires vs. The Bronx

Next up on our list, we have a vampire film “Vampires vs. The Bronx” which was released back in 2020 on Netflix. Vampire films are enjoyed by a lot of people and this film particularly is both a comedy as well as a horror film and was received pretty well. The story mainly features a trio of friends that discover a sinister plot to destroy their neighborhood. They decide to band together to save their town from vampires.

3. I’m Thinking of Ending Things

We also have “I’m Thinking of Ending Things” on this list which is an unusual film. It may not be a horrifying film and may not be scary for a lot of people. However, it sure does create a sense of internal fear in everyone’s mind. The story follows a young woman who finds herself with uneasiness after traveling with her new boyfriend to his parent’s farm.

4. #Alive

We also have #Alive in the list which got released back in 2020. It is one of the zombie thriller films which is enjoyed by a lot of people! As for the story, it mainly revolves around a video game live streamer’s struggle for survival as he is forced to stay alone at his apartment in Seoul during a zombie apocalypse.

5. In the Tall Grass

The next film, “In the Tall Grass” follows a story of a brother and sister who enter a field of tall grass to rescue a boy. As the story progresses, they realize they cannot escape because of the evil lurking in the grass. The film has some really horrifying moments and is definitely worth a watch for anyone who enjoys horror films.

6. Bird Box

Bird Box is up next and this unlike any other film on the list is very different. It sensitively tackles the question of mental health in society. This film was received very positively at the time it got released and also suggested a split in society, commonly giving the ‘us and them’ situation.

7. We Summon the Darkness

While “We Summon the Darkness” may not have a lot of horror moments, it certainly is pretty filmy. The story follows three best friends who cross paths with sadistic killers after traveling to a secluded country home for a party after a heavy metal concert.

8. Hush

Unlike Batman’s villain Hush, the 2016’s Horror film is certainly pretty scary. The story mainly revolves around a deaf writer who lives in the woods. Later in the story, a masked killer appears in her window and since the character is deaf, she would have to fight for her life in silence.

9. The Conjuring

This list won’t be a list of horror films if we didn’t include 2013’s The Conjuring. This honestly is one of the scariest movies on Netflix and the jumpscares add in the punch. It is one of the most popular horror films and pretty much worth a watch for any horror film lover.

10. Cargo

Last but not the least, we also have 2018’s Cargo. The film is set in an abandoned rural Australia in the aftermath of a violent pandemic. The film does a very good job at showing a post-apocalyptic world where an infected father desperately searches for a new home for his infant child as a means to protect her from his own changing nature.
