Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Confirmed, New Logo Revealed

Infinity Ward officially revealed Modern Warfare 2’s official logo and title! Here’s what we know so far.

The Call of Duty saga has maintained its schedule of one installment each year, despite the fact that that strategy may not survive long. Activision Blizzard has said that the upcoming game will be a follow-up to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) by the end of 2022. Infinity Ward is working on this sequel. Nevertheless, fresh information has emerged today confirming the game’s title – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and revealing its logo for the first time.

• Infinity Ward has been in charge of unveiling the game’s logo and the official title. We can see the official name of this installment: “#ModernWarfare2” in the company’s post.
• It also has the game logo (an “M” and “W” that create a “two” that sticks out in green) coupled with the hashtag “#ModernWarfare2”. To make things even more interesting, this image has replaced the developer’s primary Twitter profile picture.

Besides confirming the name and logo of the upcoming game, this release might imply that Infinity Ward and Activision Blizzard are set to reveal further information about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. After all, we haven’t heard anything about it since it was originally announced in February.

The developers also shared some hints about the upcoming installment recently. Infinity Ward previously shared a gloomy picture that was believed as the introductory image of this series.

Although no official announcements have been provided, there have been several unconfirmed reports.

Some speculate that it will feature a Latin American-themed campaign or a major advancement in artificial intelligence. Another intriguing rumor claims that the game’s announcement will be this summer, with a release date of no later than November 2022.

Are we going to see Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at the Xbox event on June 12th? Now that the acquisition of Activision by Microsoft appears to be moving forward, it looks extremely plausible. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
