Capcom To Restructure Company Adds 30% To Employee Wages

Capcom Co., Ltd. is a Japanese game developer and publisher. The corporate giant has created multi-million-selling game franchises like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Devil May Cry, and Dead Rising. Currently, the corporate is trying to restructure the interior components of the corporate. This also includes a 30% increase in employees’ salaries.

This is the part of the company’s internal approach to steady growth, which incorporates long-term changes aimed toward “increasing shareholder value,” which has engaged in nurturing relationships with employees.

Capcom made these announcements in a very release on its publicity website on March 31, 2022. Moreover, there’ll be an implementation of a brand new bonus pay system that’s dependent upon the company’s continued performance.

In addition to the aforementioned changes, Capcom is going to be restructuring its Human Resources department. A component of the priority therein is establishing a division that “will specialize in activities like workplace environment improvements and strengthening communication with employees.” Moreover, Capcom will be establishing a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHO) to oversee this transition.

As per VGC and also the previous financial results, Capcom should report its ninth consecutive year of growth in operating profits and its fifth year of record profits in May.

  • In the future, the corporate will be earning more profits because of its launch of Street Fighter 6. There’s also the Monster Hunter Rise expansion, Sunbreak, which is able to launch in June 2022.
