Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Delayed To Fall 2020

The second chapter in Supermassive Games’ Dark Pictures Anthology, Little Hope, joins the delay-army. COVID 19 has affected the studio like many others, and the new chapter will now release in Fall 2020.

“Since the COVID 19 crisis hit in March, Supermassive Games has had our 200 strong team working from home,” writes CEO Pete Samuels. “Our priority, throughout, has been the safety of our team.

“We have now been working successfully at home for some time, with the entire team committed to delivering the best possible games. With that in mind, it rests with me to make the unfortunate announcement that Little Hope will be delayed past the Summer release already announced, now targeting Fall 2020.”

Note how Pete mentions “targeting Fall 2020”, which means the game could get pushed even further.

The first chapter in the anthology, Man of Medan, was a decent game. I played it with my colleague and good friend Ishan Dey and we had some great time playing, analyzing, and then discussing the game.

Ishan and I also played A Way Out together, a brilliant co-op game, but an okayish overall game at best. For some reason, people don’t appreciate split-screen games anymore like they used to. I still love these games and can’t wait to get my hands on Little Hope.

Here’s me hoping we see more of such games in the coming future.
