Death Stranding’s Cover Revealed And Keanu Reeves Could Have Been Part Of The Title
One of the most anticipated titles, if not the most anticipated, of this rich 2019 is definitely Death Stranding. The first feature by Kojima Productions has in fact collected over the years a large number of enthusiasts. Thanks to the great appeal of the title and, above all, the presence of the famous Hideo Kojima.
As the release of the title approaches, which we remember is currently set for November 8, 2019 on PlayStation 4, more and more information comes out about it, to the delight of Death Stranding fans. To intervene on the subject, directly from the Comic-Con in San Diego this time was nothing less than Hideo Kojima himself.

On this occasion, the famous game designer revealed both the cover of the title and that of the steelbook. And also revealed that Keanu Reeves could have been part of the project. As revealed by Kojima himself, in fact, due to the role that will eventually be played by Mads Mikkelsen, the actor who was famous for playing Neo in the Matrix was proposed. However, Kojima ‘s willingness to engage Mikkelsen prevailed and Reeves was therefore forced to retreat to Cyberpunk 2077.
During Comic-Con Kojima also talked about his willingness to innovate and create something really new:
“There is no reason to recreate something that already exists, I want to do something completely different, something that can inspire the whole world”.
Statements that obviously do nothing but increase the already very high expectations for Death Stranding.
What do you think of this news, do you prefer Keanu Reeves or Mads Mikkelsen as an actor? Do you think the choice made by Hideo Kojima is appropriate or could he have had to choose better? Let us know your impressions about it in the comments!
