What is Destiny 2: Season of the Deep all about?
One of the highlights of Destiny 2: Season of the Deep is the return of the Titan. If you’ve been playing Destiny 2 for a while now, you’ll remember Titan is one of the locations vaulted in Year 4 of the game. From the name itself, it looks like we’ll be diving into the great unknown in Destiny 2.
The end of Guardian Games is almost upon us, and Titans are set to win it all!

Hopefully, Season of the Deep sheds more light on The Veil’s origins and intentions. In the new season, we also hope to see a better background on The Witness, the dark force that serves as the game’s main antagonist.
- Aside from the Titan returning in Season of the Deep, players also spotted an iconic character in the key art.
- It appears that Commander Sloane will play an important part in the game’s 21st season. Bungie was smart to have her return in the new season, as players were left with many questions regarding her fate.
- The last time we saw Commander Sloane, she stood her ground against the enemies invading Titan.
Destiny 2: Season of the Deep marks Bungie’s exciting collaboration with PlayStation. Players can access armor sets designed after iconic PlayStation exclusives in this collaboration. One of the PlayStation armor sets players are looking forward to in Destiny 2: Season of the Deep is God of War’s Kratos.
Bungie teams up with PlayStation to release themed armor sets
Destiny 2 is no stranger to releasing new armor or weapons when a new season arrives. While some of the cosmetics and items releasing have the Season of the Deep theme, there will also be a special collaboration taking place. Games from first-party studios under PlayStation inspire four armor sets in Season of the Deep.
Embrace your inner warrior.

- The Fortnite armor sets arriving in Destiny 2 was sold in the in-game shop. Each set went for $15, so it will cost a lot if Bungie ever decides to release the PlayStation-themed skins in the shop.
- On the other hand, some leaks hint that the armor sets are locked behind challenges. This means that Guardians have to take part in seasonal activities and challenges to get ahold of them.
There is also no information on whether you can only get these skins during Season of the Deep. Hopefully, Bungie will give these skins as rewards instead of selling them separately in the shop. That way, players won’t have to spend too much on these awesome cosmetics.
