Fans have continued to suggest ways to improve the game, with some even asking for a Gambit Labs mode, akin to what Bungie has done with Trials of Osiris. Thankfully, the suggestion was heeded, as community manager dmg04 replied that the team is considering Gambit for the Witch Queen year.
Meanwhile, Destiny 2 doesn’t seem to be altering much this week. Players will find an inflow of new and renewed content, including the Shattered Realm rotation, weekly challenges, objectives, and more, as usual. Here’s everything players need to know about the new Nightfalls, Crucible modes, and challenges that will be available during the week of November 16th.

Nightfall Strike The Ordeal: The Hollowed Lair
Adept Modifiers:
- Festering Rupture: When defeated, Scorn Stalkers spawn mini screebs.
Hero Modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Champions: Overload and Unstoppable
- Champions: Scorn
- Hero Modifiers: Extra Shields
- The Fanatic’s Zeal: Incoming Stasis and splash damage are increased.
Legend Modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Equipment Locked: Unable to change equipment once the mission starts.
- Match Game: Enemy shields are highly resistant to all unmatched elemental damage.
- Legend Modifiers: Locked Loadout, Match Game, and Extra Shields.
Master Modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Chaff – Radar is disabled.
- Master Modifiers: Champions: Mob, Locked Loadout, Match Game, and Extra Shields.
- Champions: Mob: This difficulty adds more champion enemies.
Grandmaster Nightfall Details:
- Grandmaster Nightfall includes Match Game, Champions: Mob, Equipment Locked, Extinguish, Limited Revives, Join in Progress Disabled, Contest, and Extra Shields. Players will want to be at least at power level 1345 in order to snag pinnacle gear and adept versions of Nightfall loot.
Rewards:
- Powerful (Tier 1) Reward: Earn 3 points for completing runs with higher difficulties granting additional points.
- Pinnacle Reward: Get a 100K score to earn a pinnacle reward.
- The Nightfall exclusive loot this week is Shadow Price AR, Mindbenders Ambition shotgun, and The Comedian shotgun. It’s a double reward week for Nightfalls, so it’s a perfect time to farm for these weapons and loot.

Season of the Lost Activities
This week marks the debut of the Legendary version of the Astral Alignment, which players must complete in order to claim the Seasonal title. Players will also have new assignments to perform throughout Season 15. In a brand new 6 player matchmade action called Astral Alignment, players work together to align the Dreaming City’s ley-line network. Players must have a power level of at least 1320, and loadouts are locked, thus weapons cannot be swapped out mid-activity.
Constant Legendary Modifiers:
- Champions: Overload and Unstoppable
- Equipment Locked
- Match Game
The weapon catalyst continues to drop in the Astral Alignment activity for players who have completed the Season of the Lost exotic quest: “Tracing the Stars” and received the Ager’s Scepter trace rifle. It’s thankfully pretty easy to obtain. It’s granted at random for unlocking Wayfinder Troves and performing Astral Alignment events.
Europa: Exo Challenge, Eclipsed Zone, and Empire Hunt
The Simulation: Agility mission for the Exo Challenge is also available on Europa this week. This week on Europa, gamers can take part in the Simulation: Agility mission for the Exo Challenge. While confronting the Vex, players must travel through a platforming activity.

Season Pass Challenges
The Season of the Lost’s weekly challenges is now over. While players wait for the season’s final goal and storyline, there’s never been a better opportunity to finish prior quests and earn the goodies that come with them.

Legacy Content
- This week, the Dreaming City’s curse level is rising, which means Petra Venj can be located in the Divalian Mists.
- For the next week, she’s presenting The Oracle Engine mission. The Blind Well contains Hive foes as well as Cragur, the plague.
- Players can choose between Servitude, Isolation, and Pride in Nightmare Hunts.
- The Trove Guardian may be found at Anchor of Light, while the Wandering Nightmare can be found near Archer’s Line’s Fallen Council.
- Finally, the Cimmerian Garrison near the Chamber of Starlight lost sector is the Ascendant Challenge.
Xur Details
Xur, Destiny 2’s exotic merchant, appears every weekend until the game is reset, giving players a limited time to see what he has to offer. Last weekend, the shopkeeper had the following:

On Fridays, Trials of Osiris rotates in. Trials of Osiris have been reworked to make it more approachable and rewarding. Saint-14 now features a reputation system that pays players for ranking up through playing and completing bounties. Moreover, there are no longer any victory conditions attached to specific rewards.
