It seems Elden Ring just keeps getting better and better. After topping the charts in its initial release last February 25, it’s obvious that the open-world RPG is going nowhere but up.
Aside from its nearly-perfect rating of 96 on OpenCritic, gamers also praise its lore and story.
Before its release, Elden Ring’s developers announced that Dark Souls creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin collaborated on the game’s storyline.
George R.R. Martin was in charge of the game’s lore and even though Elden Ring is far from what Game of Thrones is, the game included an easter egg acknowledging Martin’s contributions to the game.
Players can obtain a weapon resembling the Iron Throne in Game of Thrones.
The Grafted Blade Greatsword can be collected from the Weeping Peninsula without having progressed too far into the game. But keep in mind that you will need 40 strength to use the weapon.
Here are the steps to get the Grafted Blade Greatsword from the Weeping Peninsula:
- Travel to the Weeping Peninsula
- Enter Castle Morne and fight the enemies
- Reach the back part of the castle where you will meet Leonine Misbegotten
- Fight Leonine Misbegotten and collect your reward, the Grafted Blade Greatsword
The Grafted Blade Greatsword’s stats are fitting for the more serious battles in Elden Ring. According to the game’s wiki site, this weapon “scales primarily with Dexterity and Strength” stats.
It’s also important to note that the weapon is connected to a certain quest further into the game. Players need to acquire it first before the quest can advance.
