Microsoft’s Top Gun expansion for flight simulator will launch alongside the movie on May 27th, 2022.
Microsoft’s Top Gun expansion for the Microsoft flight simulator has been postponed to stick to the same date as that of the movie release. Microsoft Flight Simulator is a series of amateur flight simulator programs for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
The flight simulator is based on the “Top Gun” movie franchise. Paramount Pictures Studio has already delayed the release of movies in 2021 including Top Gun: Maverick, starring Tom Cruise. The movie will now be available on Thanksgiving weekend May 2022.

Microsoft reported the Top Gun expansion alongside the release of Flight Simulator for Xbox Series X/S. The teaser for the expansion includes jets and aircraft carriers that players may be able to land on next year.
“Paramount Pictures recently shifted the release date of ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ to Memorial Day weekend on May 27, 2022. As we have previously announced, the ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator for Windows 10 PC, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass will be out alongside the movie. We look forward to sharing more information in the future,” the company propounded.
Paramount pictures rescheduled Top Gun: Maverick to next year because of an upsurge in Covid deceased. Mission Impossible 7 and Jackass Forever also got a change of release date due to the same reason.
