The latest Star Wars crossover in Fortnite was announced more than a month ago. Lately, it looks that it is finally nearing completion. Boba Fett was previously hinted as arriving sometime in December. The character will finally appear in the combat royale on December 24.
When Boba Fett appears in Fortnite on Christmas Eve, he will be the latest Star Wars bounty hunter to receive the crossover treatment. Several more characters from the franchise appeared in Season 5 of the game, including The Mandalorian and his young Jedi charge, the monster affectionately known as Baby Yoda.
Social Media Updates
Fortnite developers took to social media and announced that “Boba Fett will arrive on the Island on December 24, 2021, at 7 pm ET”. The Mandalorian was the first bounty hunter from the Star Wars universe to enter the popular battle royale game during Fortnite Season 5 last summer.

When The Mandalorian was introduced, Mando became major popularity among players. For man Fortnite veterans, tracking down individuals and attempting to grab the Beskar Umbrella was a lot of fun. With that in mind, it is reasonable to assume that the developers have planned something similar for Boba Fett.
Star Wars Crossover
- Except for the official reveal of Boba Fett’s skin, we don’t know much about the crossover. For the time being, all Fortnite fans have is a hand-drawn depiction of the famed bounty hunter to rely on.
- The Fortnite crossover Boba Fett model resembles the crazy image taken from the last episode of The Mandalorian series. This was when Disney+ initially disclosed their intentions for the new future program.
“I can’t say anything about it because I’ve been sworn to secrecy. I can say I’m working on it, and I can promise you it’ll blow your mind.”
– Robert Rodriguez, Director and Filmmaker
Rodriguez also mentioned Boba Fett’s appearance in The Mandalorian. He said it was “nothing” compared to what they had in store for the character’s own program.
