Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will receive another major update on May 2 and it’s bringing with it a very colorful crossover in Epic Games’ popular battle royale. Ahead of Star Wars day on May 4th, Fortnite has released a surprise crossover with the franchise and is releasing a very, very awesome-looking Anakin Skywalker skin. Aside from Anakin, there will be a second Star Wars-themed skin releasing in Fortnite once the major update drops. Here are all the details we know so far!
How to get Star Wars’ Anakin Skywalker skin in Fortnite
In Fortnite, the Anakin Skywalker skin we’re getting is the one from Revenge of the Sith. If you need a quick refresher on what happens in Revenge of the Sith, it’s the part where Anakin becomes the Sith’s next victim. It’s also the part of the saga where we first get a glimpse of the twins, Leia and Luke.

The skin features Anakin’s iconic look as he gradually starts becoming Darth Vader. With his shoulder-length hair and the iconic brown outfit, this is the Anakin that most of the fans remember.
- In the promo art for the skin’s arrival in the game, we can see the young Darth Vader wielding a blue lightsaber. This detail has fans speculating that the skin will come in a bundle that includes a customizable Lightsaber pickaxe.
Alright, my last observation of this #Fortnite announcemet
This is not Anakin's saber, (his is on his belt) could we be finally getting them as a harvesting tool? pic.twitter.com/Aiijp09S81

- If these speculations do turn out to be true, then we’ve got a pretty big Star Wars crossover in Fortnite this time around.
The Anakin skin may arrive as a bundle in the Fortnite Item Shop
The third major update for the current season in Fortnite will go live later, but there is currently no indicators as to how players can get the Anakin Skywalker skin. Since the Battle Pass has already been released, it’s possible that this Star Wars skin will arrive in the Item Shop instead.
One of the previous Star Wars skins we got in Fortnite was Darth Vader, Anakin’s final form. However, he was already part of the Battle Pass from Chapter 3 Season 3. Seen as the Anakin skin is coming in the middle of the current season, Fortnite may be releasing him in the Item Shop instead.
- Skins like Anakin Skywalker cost around 1,500 V-Bucks in Fortnite. On the other hand, it’s likely that he will be part of a bundle that includes other accessories fitting for his character.

- Similar to the Levi and Mikasa skins in Fortnite, there’s a high chance that Anakin has his own accessories. These include a Back Bling, Glider, Emote, or even Harvesting Tool.
The Star Wars crossover will add four new skins to Fortnite
Aside from Anakin, there will be three other Star Wars skins coming to Epic Games’ popular battle royale. Leakers have already confirmed that two of the sets are male characters, Anakin included, but the other two are unknown.
- The other male character could be Cal Kestis, the protagonist in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Since Survivor just released, it would only make sense for Fortnite to give Cal his own skin in the game.

- As for the other two skins, it’s possible that Fortnite may finally include C3PO or even a Storm/Clone Trooper in the game. Fans have always been wanting to use a Trooper in Fortnite, with the skin having multiple customization options.
Aside from the Anakin Skywalker skin, expect a lot of new (and unvaulted) content coming to Fortnite once the update goes live. May the 4th be with you!
