UPDATE: There is a new leaked image of Al-Haitham from a reliable source on Reddit. Although, Genshin Impact leakers have been repetitive that these leaks are subject to change, who wouldn’t love Al-Haitham’s appearance?
Another Al-Haitham update from BLANK’s Discord was posted on Twitter. Al-Haitham is such a gorgeous character!

These leaks may still change over time, but let’s peek at the Vision we can see on his left arm! With these leaks, we are able to see (at least bit by bit) the character’s potential appearance in Genshin Impact.
However, Travelers may have to wait for 3.1 to encounter Al-Haitham. Good thing though! New characters’ arrival in Genshin will keep you company! Tighnari, Dori, and Collei possibly arrive in 3.0. Watch out for them too!
About Al-Haitham
Al-Haitham (or Al-Haytham), this character’s name spelling is still unsure how since it is originally in Arabic, and HoYoverse may tweak the name of the character a bit. Al-Haitham is what players thought of as the Su-like character (we also referred to him as Su before, check it out).

A leak appeared that actually confirms about Al-Haitham’s character is present in Genshin Impact’s nearly coming updates (yes, in the near future, we hope so).
The said leak posted on Twitter was on June 22nd, while on June 25th, this Tweet is the confirmation of Al-Haitham’s name and a character in Genshin Impact.
Numerous fans assume that Al-Haitham’s name is from the name of a popular Arab scholar Hasan ibn al-Haytham. And that makes sense since according to rumors, the new Sumeru nation may be based in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, respectively.

Fans first called Al-Haitham ‘Su-like’ as his appearance seems to look like Su, a Honkai Impact 3rd character. Just another example of this Honkai-Genshin similar characters are Genshin’s Electro user Yae Miku and Yae Sakura of Honkai.

There are leaks that suggest that Al-Haitham may be a four- or five-star unit (but they say, this character is more of a five-star, though), as well.
Al-Haitham might set to be the first Sword wielder who hails from Sumeru. There is no specific date on when Al-Haitham comes to Genshin Impact, but definitely not in the first Sumeru update.

Al-Haitham, Dendro element, and New Characters
Additionally, players are excitedly hyped about Al-Haitham since he is said to use a new Dendro element. Moreover, two Dendro element reactions are to be released, the Overgrown and the Intensified.
Bringing the new element to Genshin Impact may appear alongside the new region, as certain leaks also hint at the coming of three more new characters in the game in the 3.0, and two are Dendro users.
Genshin Impact is currently available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
