Genshin Impact: Shenhe & Yun Jin Confirmed, Yae Miko Next?

miHoYo has revealed some of the new characters that will be arriving in Genshin Impact recently. Yun Jin and Shenhe are set to arrive in Genshin impact soon with the 2.4 patch. While this has fans excited for the new characters, they have also begun thinking about the addition of Yae Miko.

• Yae Miko is the chief priestess of Grand Narukami Shrine and was teased a while ago in Genshin Impact 2.0. She is similar to Yae Sakura from Honkai Impact in appearance and voice. However, the real hype around the character is after her role in Inazuma’s Archon Quest.
• Yae is an old friend of Ganyu, Morax, and Baal, and owns Yae Publishing House. While we know she has a fox form, she has refused to reveal it yet.

Yae Miko Release Date?

With the release of Yun Jin and Shenhe, rumors of Yae are being circulated, and are supported by some leaks as well. Twitter user SaveYourPrimos reposted a Reddit post by Ubatcha, the well-known Genshin leakers. This post stated that a previous leak had revealed Gorou, Itto, Eula, and Albedo in Genshin 2.3, and Gnyu, Xiao, and Shenhe in 2.4 Additionally, it stated that 2.5 might include Yae.

[Unverified] User XenoVX posted secondhand info about Albedo + Eula reruns for 2.3 about a month before the big TZ leak.

This source also claims Xiao, Ganyu, and Shenhe for 2.4 (implying 5✰ rarity for Shenhe), and "maybe Yae" for 2.5.

However, there is still time for Yae’s appearance, if it is actually happening. miHoYo had only revealed 2.4 characters within a month of the patch release, so we can expect the same for Yae in the 2.5 patch as well. Other sources have also said that 2.5 will be a re-run of the Ganyu banner, but we will have to wait and see for ourselves.

It can be seen that compared to the data mine a few months ago, Yun Jin and Shenhe look different. However, if Yae makes it, we expect that her appearance will be unchanged since she has been a part of the story already.
