Some big titles that were PS exclusive have been making their entrance to the PC platform in recent days. A few examples are Horizon: Zero Dawn and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves. The latest among them, in a surprise reveal, is 2018’s God of War from Sony Santa Monica Studio.
The wait is almost over for God of War fans who has been wishing to play the game on the PC platform. In a surprise move, the announcement has been made, and the Steam page for God of War has been up for some time now, with a release date set on the 14th of January, 2022.
While the title was already seen in the GeForce Now leak, it was not seen as something that was sure to happen, but it is! Check out the announcement trailer below.

The 2018 game was initially released for the PS4 as a sequel to the 2010 God of War III. It is the eighth installment in the long-standing series. The PC game will also feature advanced-level graphics, support gamepad controls, 4K output, and 21:9 resolution.
Specific system requirements have not been revealed yet. However, it is known that it will take up at least 80 GB of space. The Nvidia DLSS technology has been used to enhance frame rates along with visual fidelity. It is also going to be supported on the PC version of the game.
