Grand Theft Auto VI speculations emerge with a fair amount of frequency, albeit with often conflicting info. The latter, on the other hand, comes from Rockstar’s own job opening page, rather than any insider or discussion board linked to the leaks.
VFX Artist Wanted
“We help to bring extra life to the environment, characters, weapons, vehicles, and more. The visual effects help to immerse the player in a believable world, from using ambient effects for things like insects around the player and rain dripping off buildings up to large scale destruction events like skyscrapers crashing to the ground.
We control vast networks of data that drive many large systems. Our technology is used to tie the world together; weapons create bullet impacts, vehicles kick up dirt and smoke and leave debris when they crash, objects get dirty when the fall in mud.”
– Rockstar New England Job Listing
Interestingly, it should be noted that the applicant must “Develop assets optimized for current and next-generation consoles,” as stated in the job offer’s “responsibilities” category.
If the schedules that Rockstar’s fans have speculated about the release of the sixth installment are correct, it is pretty doubtful that it would be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
GTA 6 Possible Release Date
- Rockstar Grand Theft Auto VI will not be released until the end of 2025, according to insider Tom Henderson. Additionally, that it will be exclusive to the PS5, Xbox Series X/ S, and PC.
- This claim was backed up by both the header VGC and journalist Jason Schreier. The game would start with a “moderate size” map that will be evolved over time; both in terms of expansions and events.
