Honkai Star Rail: Lightning Characters Tier list
S-tier
Bailu
- Path: The Abundance
- Element: Lightning
- Star: 5*
- Tier: S
Reason: Bailu is the strongest support character in Honkai Star Rail. She is a 5* character and hence it can be hard to secure. She is the strongest healer in the game which makes her one of the core characters in any boss fights. Bailu can provide healing to multiple allies. Not to forget her passive which can revive a fallen ally once, which can be useful if you lose your DPS early in a fight.
Jing Yuan
- Path: The Erudition
- Element: Lightning
- Star: 5*
- Tier: S
Reason: Another 5* Lightning character on this tier list is Jing Yuan. He is a high DPS character that excels at dealing damage to multiple targets at the same time. This makes him a favorable pick in boss fights and especially against enemies that are weak to his element. I recommend building him with a high crit rate build. In addition to his excess damage, Jing Yuan excels at crowd control and offers utility with his kit making him an all-around DPS character.
Tingyun
- Path: Harmony
- Element: Lightning
- Star: 4*
- Tier: S
Reason: Tingyun is a 4* support but she can be as useful as a 5* character if paired with the right team composition. She is best paired with a high DPS character as she can buff their attack damage and help them dish out more damage. In addition, her ultimate restores the energy of an ally which means you can hit your enemy twice! Isn’t that amazing?
A-Tier
I believe that the rest of the characters within Ice elements are not as good to be considered worthy of A-tier hence I didn’t add any character to this tier on purpose. Although the Ice element already has its share of 3 S-tier characters.
B-Tier
Arlan
- Path: Destruction
- Element: Lightning
- Star: 4*
- Tier: B
Reason: Arlan is a strong character but the only thing that cages him in this tier is that his skills eat his health and this can be a double-edged sword that can leave you in a bad spot sometimes. Therefore, having him on a team will only work if you have a healer with you, or it will get even harder to have a favorable outcome from the combat. The biggest positive of using Arlan is he doesn’t need a skill point to cast his skills, which can save a spot for your main DPS character.
Serval
- Path: The Erudition
- Element: Lightning
- Star: 4*
- Tier: B
Reason: Serval is undoubtedly one of the easiest characters to pull off in Honkai Star Rail. She is good against enemies that are weak to her element as she does AoE damage. Also, enemies affected by her lightning effect take extra damage from her when she strikes them. Sadly, for us, her damage is not enough as there are better heroes compared to her in the current meta.
If you would've told me one of my gaming moments of the year would unironically come from Honkai: Star Rail, I would've laughed.
