Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based roleplaying game that is released by HoYoverse. It is available to play on the PC and mobile phones. A console version for the PlayStation is currently in the works. In version 1.0, players have access to 3 base physical characters. On the other hand, there is one more, but it depends on the path you choose. The beauty of the game lies in how viable every character is if you can draft a composition around it. Although, some characters are strong on their own and this tier list ranks the physical characters in Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail: Physical Characters Tier List
S-tier
#1 Sushang
- Path: The Hunt
- Element: Physical
- Star: 4*
- Tier: S
Reason: Sushang is one of the strongest DPS characters in single-target combat. This makes her extremely viable in the current state of the game. Furthermore, she attacks all the enemies at the start of a battle. If she successfully breaks an enemy’s break bar, it grants her another move. This alone makes her even stronger.
The only thing that holds her back is the randomness of her attacks, but once you play her enough you will understand how she works. When that happens, you’ll surely become unstoppable in Honkai: Star Rail!
A-Tier
#2 Clara
- Path: The Destruction
- Element: Physical
- Star: 5*
- Tier: A
Reason: Clara is quite a highly mechanical character to play in Honkai: Star Rail. This 5* character excels in combat when she has allies who can give her shields as her passive triggers when an enemy attacks her. She is one of the strongest DPS characters that are currently available in-game.
Although, if you want to take complete advantage of her, you will have to draft a composition that suits her the best, and mostly these are “protect the president” comps.
#3 Natasha
- Path: Abundance
- Element: Physical
- Star: 4*
- Tier: A
Reason: Natasha is a healer, and healers hold a lot of importance in Honkai: Star Rail. Especially in longer combats, healers like Natasha and Bailu can come in handy. We recommend having Natasha in the team composition, as her ultimate ability can heal everyone on the team.
Lastly, her second ability or skill is able to heal one of your party members. With this, you can save your skill points and have Natasha heal your DPS to help them stay alive longer in combat.
B-Tier
#4 Trailblazer (Physical)
- Path: The Destruction
- Element: Physical
- Star: 5*
- Tier: B
We consider all the characters in S-tier and A-tier viable in the current state of the game. Hence, you can aim to pick any of them if you are drafting a team against an enemy that is weak against the physical elements.
