How to become a Shadow in Fortnite?

Halloween is around the corner and Fortnite is having its own Halloween event, Fortnitemares. One of the challenges require you to be a Shadow, and if you are wondering how to do the same, here is how to do it.

All you need to do to become a shadow in Fortnite is die. Yep, you heard that right. Irrespective of whether you die by an enemy or a shadow, or die on your own, it will still be counted towards the challenge. You can play the rest of the match as a Shadow until someone kills you. The best way to attain the shadow form is by jumping off a cliff. You also get a number of abilities as a Shadow, and can also win a battle royale match when you are a shadow!
