Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member and hip-hop legend Krayzie Bone is reportedly in critical condition after being admitted to the hospital on Friday, September 22. Legal name Anthony Henderson, reports claimed he was coughing up large amounts of blood and is “fighting for his life.” So, this leaves fans and netizens with the question: What happened?
Krayzie Bone Reportedly in Critical Condition
A CAT scan revealed Krayzie Bone was suffering from a leaking artery in one of his lungs that caused the bleeding. He then reportedly underwent emergency surgery, but despite the doctors’ efforts, they couldn’t stop the hemorrhage.
The American rapper and singer was diagnosed with a rare inflammatory disease called sarcoidosis, which covered the organs with lumpy nodules known as a granuloma. As of Sunday, September 24, Krayzie Bone is reportedly sedated and unable to breathe on his own, needing assistance.

What happened to Krayzie Bone?
Before his hospitalization, Krayzie Bone has remained active in the music scene. In fact, he recently performed with LL Cool J last month. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is even set to perform at the upcoming Juicy Festival in Auckland on January 6.
Amid the ongoing Hip Hop 50 celebrations, he told AllHipHop that he had been blessed to be in the industry because of the music genre that made him and his group famous in the 1990s. “To be here at the beginning, to watch and see every phase that it’s went through, I’m excited to see what the next 50 years is going to bring,” he said. “Hip-hop is definitely here to stay as a music genre, but it’s still so young.”

Who is Krayzie Bone?
Hails from Cleveland, Ohio, Krayzie Bone is a member of the hit hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, along with Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone. Formed in 1991, they signed to Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records in 1993; from there, the rest is history. They debuted their first album, Creepin on ah Come Up, in 1995 and released their breakout single, Thuggish Ruggish Bone.
