Miley Cyrus’ bodyguard steals spotlight at the Grammy’s
Miley Cyrus stole the show at the Grammy Awards with her stunning see-through gold dress. But it wasn’t only her outfit that generated discussion on social media. An argument over an umbrella, which seems like a common commodity, started after a video of Miley Cyrus and her bodyguard strolling the red carpet went viral.
Not-so-ordinary umbrella?
In the video, Cyrus confidently strolls the red carpet while her security hovers a big umbrella nearby. Some viewers, however, saw more than just rain protection.
Speculation ran wild, with theories suggesting the umbrella concealed a firearm, based on the bodyguard’s hand position and perceived arm length difference.

However, reality offered a simpler explanation: it was raining in Los Angeles that day. Many viewers pointed out the practicality of the umbrella, while others found the conspiracy theories amusing.

It was raining at the Grammys.
Oh no, it wasn't!
Miley Cyrus's bodyguard is either carrying a gun disguised as an umbrella or is wearing a fake arm to disguise his real arm, again for security reasons.
Bla, bla, bla.People are going nuts.
It was raining. It's an umbrella.

Miley Cyrus wins her first Grammy
Despite the online chatter, Cyrus’s red carpet look remained a highlight. As Cyrus accepted her first-ever Grammy for “Flowers,” a momentous occasion marked by a mic drop after her performance, fans complimented her audacious ensemble, labeling it her “best look ever” and “the baddest.”
So, while the internet debated the purpose of an umbrella, Miley Cyrus stole the show with her talent, fashion, and Grammy wins. And hey, maybe next time, her bodyguard can choose a more inconspicuous rain shield to avoid stealing the spotlight.
