MK 11 Ultimate Edition Announced; Free Next-Gen Upgrade Available
NetherRealm Studios’ has announced a MK 11 Ultimate Edition that releases later next month. The Ultimate edition will come with the base game, the Aftermath expansion pack, and Kombat packs 1 and 2.

The biggest new change comes with the addition of three fan favourite characters which are- Mileena, Rain and the iconic John Rambo, who has been designed on his original 1982 looks. What’s more, Actor Sylvester Stallone lends his voice just like in the original movie series. These three are part of the Kombat Pack 2 and can also be purchased separately.
MK 11 base and the Ultimate Edition allows for a free next-gen upgrade with some quality of life features that include-
- 4K Dynamic Resolution
- Significantly Reduced Load Times
- Visual Enhancements
- Cross-play and Cross-gen
A physical Kollector’s Edition is also confirmed that contains all the contents of the Ultimate Edition plus, “Sub Zero mask bust, exclusive steel case, commemorative magnet coin, authenticity plate and exclusive DLC.”
Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition will also get a Time Warrior Skin pack that includes “Dark Web” Noob Sailboat, “HCF” Liu Kang and “Blood Moon” Skarlet.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition releases November 17, 2020, for $59.99 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
