NBA2K Players That Will Give You Some A** Kicking

NBA2K, a simulation videogame of basketball that features the NBA as a whole. From the regular season games, playoffs, playing in a pick-up (NBA Blacktop), to creating your own NBA Player (My Career). Some versions of players in this game are like an enigma to gamers. Some of them are incredible, but some just completely don’t make sense. Here are some of the NBA2K versions of your favorite NBA players that will probably kick your a** in the game!

1. Jeremy Lamb (NBA 2K14)

Only averaging 8.5 points per game on 45% FG and 36% from beyond the arc. Playing as a backup shooting guard for OKC in his sophomore year, he was a decent player in real life.

But, in his 2k version, he is automatic from the three-point line. This 2013-2014 OKC squad was a real threat (with Durant and Westbrook). In a playoff game against this team, good luck trying to stop Lamb from hitting those threes.

2. Rudy Gay (NBA 2K13)

Gay is an impressive scorer down the stretch and is sometimes overlooked in the all-star selection. No doubt that he was a great player in his prime. In the 2012-2013 NBA season, he averaged almost 20 points and 7 rebounds.

Rudy can score anywhere on the floor, but in-game, he is so much better. His post-fadeaway was almost unstoppable. His dunks can’t be blocked most of the time, even with Dwight Howard guarding the paint. People sometimes wonder why he was never in the all-star during those years.

3. LeBron James (NBA 2K14)

We know King James is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, of all time. He was the face of the league for a very long time. During the 2013-2014 season, he and his team (Miami Heat) dominated the east. But, in this video game version of himself, he was almost inhuman.

Just by looking at his physique, he’s as scary as the boogeyman. A LeBron in transition cannot be stopped. He’ll dunk on you no matter what, and then give you a 30-piece easily.

4. Steph Curry (NBA 2k16)

The greatest shooter of all time was already breaking out as a legitimate superstar in the league. This was the year when he won as the unanimous MVP, the only player to do so.

His 2k rating was 93, which was tied with LeBron. But, in-game, he is a literal cheat code to play with. In real life, his shooting is unstoppable. In-game? It’s basically game over. Every player that decides to play as Steph automatically has the win.

5. Giannis Antetokounmpo (NBA 2k19 and 2k21)

Giannis was already Milwaukee’s franchise player and is making a case as the best in the league. He is a back-to-back MVP (2019,2020) which tells you how great he is.

In 2k19 and 2k21, the Greek Freak is a God-like player. He can go for 40 points and 15 rebounds in a game, without even attempting a single three.

STOPPING GIANNIS? JUST DON’T.

Can you stop him in transition? You just can’t. How about in the post? Good luck buddy! He is even a better free-throw shooter in this game than in real life. Giannis is completely overpowered in these games since he looks like a player with no disadvantages, offensive, and defensive-wise.
