Pete Davidson was recently seen pushing an old man away from himself. The 29-year-old attended the recent Knicks match at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Pete wore a Knicks jacket as he sat in the front row, watching his team win the game. As the match ended, a crowd accumulated around the SNL star, hoping to take selfies with him.
However, one fan went in for more than a simple handshake and a picture. Videos online show a person in a pink shirt getting dangerously close to Pete’s face, while the actor pushes him away and says something.
The video has gone viral on social media, with netizens sharing their opinions on the matter.

Pete didn’t mind taking pictures with his fans, as the video shows the comedian smiling and posing with them. It was also noticed that an old man in a pink shirt and a baseball cap was hovering around the artist, trying to get close to him. The man kept putting his arm around Pete’s shoulder while the Meet Cute actor tried to walk away and take pictures with other people.

But the persistent fan found his chance and leaned in very close to the actor’s face. Pete reacted by pushing the guy away and scolding him. The man then soon disappeared while Pete continued taking pictures.
Netizens have given mixed reactions to the incident, where some said the actor was right to push the man. While others said he should be more humble toward his fans. Comments on the video read:

The 29-year-old became the youngest performer to join Saturday Night Live when he started in 2014. He left the show last year but will return in May to promote his upcoming movie “Bupkis.” He thanked SNL’s production team by saying:
“I owe Lorne Michaels and everyone at SNL my life. I’m so grateful and I wouldn’t be here without them. I appreciate you guys always having my back and sticking up for me even when that wasn’t the popular opinion.”
The star also met his ex-partner Kim Kardashian on the show, when Kim made a guest appearance in an October 2021 episode. The pair dated for nine months before separating in August 2022.
