Elite Charged TM and Elite Fast TM are unique Pokémon GO items that give you permission to change a Pokémon’s move by picking the new move that the Pokémon will learn.
Note: Elite TMs does not result in a Pokémon learning random move: you choose which move the Pokémon will go.
There are two types of Elite TMs:
- Elite Fast TM – This Technical Machine lets you choose a Fast Attack to teach to a Pokémon
- Elite Charge TM – This Technical Machine lets you choose a Charged Attack to teach to a Pokémon
Difference between Elite TMs and Normal TMs:
Firstly, in Elite TMs you choose the move your Pokémon will learn – it’s not random like normal TMs.
Secondly, in Elite TMs you can teach your Pokémon legacy and Community Day exclusive moves whereas in Normal TMs you can only do that from your current move pool.
Thirdly, Elite TMs is only obtained by reaching Rank 7 in GO Battle League, whereas Normal TMs is obtained by participating in Go Bale leagues and Raid battles.
Elite TMs are overall super rare and valuable as compared to Normal TMs.
A note on Shadow Pokémon
Elite TM’s might not be able to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon, so in order to get these moves you would either need to:
- Unlock a 2nd Charged Move.
- Have previously removed Frustration during the available window.
How do I get the Elite Charge TM?
Elite Charged TM can be obtained by reaching Rank 7 or higher in the current season of GO Battle League.
