Pokemon Go Cyber Week Boxes: Are They Worth Buying?

There are new Cyber Week boxes available in the Pokemon Go store, but it appears that the Cyber Week Special Box, Ultra Box, and Adventure Box aren’t worth purchasing.

Niantic and Pokemon Go are celebrating Cyber Week with three new boxes, all of which are presently available for purchase in the store. All of the players had hoped for better things and lower pricing, but they received the same boxes as before, with no price difference.

Several participants criticized the bargain as yet another example of a merchant attempting to defraud unsuspecting customers. One customer openly expressed regret for having already purchased a Cyber Week box before understanding the truth of the matter. A second user pointed out that Niantic did something similar with the Halloween boxes, while a third speculated that the decision was made because the pandemic is hurting Niantic’s profitability.

Are they worth buying?

• One Star Piece and two normal Egg Incubators were taken from the Cyber Week Adventure Box, reported by several gamers, while only one Incense was added.
• The end result may be considered a substantial degradation from the original Adventure Box, despite the fact that the pricing remains the same.
• The Cyber Week boxes are disappointing, and they’re not a good deal. These boxes, as well as the prices, have displeased Pokemon Go gamers.

Considering that this is taking place at the same time as the Ed Sheeran collab, it’s probable that Niantic prioritized the collaboration over Cyber Week, resulting in a dearth of good Cyber Week bargains. It’s also likely that Niantic merely anticipated that the adjustments, or lack thereof, would go unnoticed by gamers.
