Pokemon Go: July 2021 Events

We’re only 7 days away from July, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most important months in Pokemon GO!

Community Day: July 3

• Tepig is this month’s highlighted Pokemon. For the first time, the Pokemon will be available in its shiny version in the game, along with a variety of rewards for trainers.

Pokemon Go Fest: July 17

• Pokemon GO Fest is, without a doubt, the most awaited Pokemon GO event of the month, if not the year.
• The two-day activity will begin on July 17 and will feature a variety of exciting perks, shiny Pokemon, research, and other activities for trainers to partake in.
• Meloetta, a legendary Pokemon, will make her debut as well.

Air Adventures

• Pokemon Air Adventures is among the most unusual and unexciting July events.
• It will only be accessible in Okinawa, Japan, where a special Pikachu will be obtainable, as well as in areas where Corsola can be discovered.
• It’s meant to encourage travel, but it also makes it a little more exclusive.

5th Anniversary

• It’s uncertain whether Niantic will hold a different event to commemorate Pokemon GO’s 5th anniversary from GO Fest, but they have revealed that tickets will be $5 to mark the occasion.
• As part of the event, Niantic has also revealed that a line of merchandise will be released.

Changes

• As Incense is less efficient, buddies bring fewer gifts, and PokeStop and Gym distances return to normal, these changes have sparked some controversy among the trainers.
