Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 – How Long to Beat

“What have you done?!”

If you think you have survived the eerie depths of Playtime co., think again. Things are just getting started and with the second chapter, everything is about to be even more terrifying. The previous chapter only took less than an hour to finish, but now, how long do you think can an average player beat the second one?

Poppy Playtime Chapter 2’s Story

After the success of Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1, MOB Games released the second chapter of the game’s storyline, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 – Fly in the Web.

The game brings you back to where you ended your previous adventure. You probably narrowly escaped Huggy Wuggy in the first chapter after an anxiety-inducing chase down in the vents of the factory, but there’s more danger coming to you in chapter 2.

The following are the antagonists you will be encountering in Chapter 2, together with the puzzles they are hosting that you need to solve.

• Mini Huggies or Huggy Buddies

These smaller variants of Huggy Bunny are part of a side quest in the second chapter. While they seem to be harmless, never ever be deceived by those cute eyes. Similar to other evil living toys, they will kill you every time they get the chance. But, don’t worry, it’s pretty easy to get rid of them. Just whack these mini Huggies and you’re good to go.

• Bunzo Bunny

This whimsical-looking yellow bunny will be giving you a mini-game called “Musical Memory“. The game is actually easy if you’re good at memorization. You just have to memorize the sequence of colors as instructed on the screen and then you will try to replicate the sequence using your grab pack. But, if you fail or take too long to execute your actions, Bunzo Bunny wouldn’t hesitate to put your puny little body in his stomach.

• PJ-Pug-A-Pillar

PJ-Pug-A-Pillar is a Pug and Caterpillar crossbreed kind of toy. When you meet him in his mini-game called “Status”, you have to start running immediately when the lights turn off. If the lights turn back on and the music stops, you have to stand very still for you not to be eaten by this 100-feet feral toy.

• Mommy Long Legs

Mommy Long Legs is like the boss of all bosses in this chapter. She looked friendly at first as she only wants to play the games with you. But, as soon as you start winning, Mommy suddenly goes on a rampage and tries to put you down herself. Of course, you’ll find a way to beat her, eventually.

How Long Does It Take For You to Beat Chapter 2?

The second chapter is reportedly three times as large as the previous one which means, average players can beat the game in 1.5 to 2 hours. This is actually a generous estimate, but since the game could be harder than expected, players could reach more than 2 hours in gameplay, on average. In addition to that, because this chapter brings you deeper into the factory, there are even more hidden things and cryptic messages which could be a setup for the next chapters.

Since its release, Chapter 2 is already being plagued by some of the most infamous gaming speedrunners. The record for the fastest to finish the game is currently being held by 2Drips. He finished the game with only 4 minutes and 4 seconds.
